Welcome to Seething and Mundham Primary School!

A very warm welcome to our school where the children are at the heart of all that we do and together we work to ensure they grow socially, emotionally and academically. Our aim is to inspire and motivate, through our exciting and creative curriculum, so that our children leave well-prepared for the next steps in their lives.

We are a small, rural school which works in close partnership with supportive parents.  We highly value the feel of our school community and our values underpin all we do –

We benefit from a dedicated team of teaching and support staff who are devoted to helping all children, of all abilities, to fulfil their potential.  As part of the Sapientia Education Trust, we work closely with other Primary Schools to provide the best educational experience we can. At Seething and Mundham Primary, we continually look to advance our practice and embrace the chance to broaden the opportunities we provide.

We have four classes –

Bittern - Reception and Year 1, taught by Miss Kemp and supported by Mrs Custance

Harrier - Year 2, taught by Miss Squirrell and supported by Mrs Barrie

Kestrel - Year 3 and 4, taught by Miss Richards and supported by Mrs N Thompson

Hawks - Year 5 and 6, taught by Mrs L Thompson and supported by Mrs Squirrell and Mrs Barrie.

An incredibly important element of our provision is our Forest School led by Mrs Denmark and assisted by Mrs Norton.  Forest School is an opportunity for children to learn outdoors in our fantastic grounds. It allows for children to apply learning in out of context ways, deepens their cultural capital and helps them to develop a strong sense of confidence and self-efficacy.
